TRAVEL INSTRUCTIONS
Jyväskylä is ca. 269 km from Helsinki. There are several ways to travel to Jyväskylä. Here are instructions and links to relevant websites for tickets and timetables.
1. From Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport (http://www.helsinki-vantaa.fi/home)
- by plane: There are a few flight connections a day from Helsinki to Jyväskylä. For more information (timetables etc.), see http://www.finavia.fi/airports/airport_jyvaskyla
- by bus: There are a few bus connections straight from the Helsinki-Vantaa airport to Jyväskylä. For more information, see: http://www.matkahuolto.fi/en/
- by train: First travel to Helsinki railway station or Tikkurila railway station with the airport buses (bus no. 61 to Tikkurila, bus no. 615 to Helsinki). Then take the train to Jyväskylä (see below).
